Membership benefits

Networking :
In a city that is notoriously badly networked, we offer our members the opportunity to meet their equivalents in other corporates, as well as government and other stakeholders.

Strategic influence:
We introduce our members to key stakeholders in the city and region to discuss issues related to the growth and development of the region.

A finger on the pulse of Cape business:
We share information and intelligent analysis with our members through our briefings, publications and events, which range from small dinners, breakfast briefings, and our e-newsletter.

Opportunities to sponsor key projects:
Through the projects we run, we offer our members the opportunity to get exposure while ensuring that concrete action takes place to drive the region towards the globally recognised business destination that it has the potential to become.
Events :
Accelerate Cape Town’s events not only  provide the opportunity to network and build business relationships but  allow you to participate in contributing to accelerating growth and change in the Cape region. We host a wide range of networking/ issue driven events with speakers from government, business and community.

Corporate Sponsors
Accelerate Cape Town currently has 17 corporate sponsors. These organisations play a larger role in the Accelerate Cape Town programme of events and initiatives than corporate members. They are often key sponsors for elements of the programme, and 6 of the 12 Board members are elected from among the corporate sponsors. Many of the corporate sponsors were founding members of Accelerate Cape Town, and have been part of the organisation since its inception. Old Mutual was the first corporate sponsor, and provided the seed capital necessary for the creation of Accelerate Cape Town.

Corporate Members
Corporate members form part of the wider Accelerate Cape Town community. Together with the corporate sponsors, they provide input into Accelerate Cape Town initiatives and programmes. Their membership of Accelerate Cape Town ensures that their voice is heard when issues of relevance are debated within the Cape Town City Region.
